Soil Temperatures and Planting

Here are desired soil temperatures when planting.

CORN at 2″ soil depth – 55 degrees for minimum of 3 consecutive days.

PEANUT at 4″ soil depth – should be consistent at 68 degrees minimum.

COTTON at 2″ soil depth – should be consistent at 65 degrees minimum.

SOYBEANS at 2″ soil depth – should be consistent at 68 degrees minimum.
